A Quick Look Back
Before I introduce you to someone who’s changing the game for Forage & Soothe, I want to take you back a bit.
For years, I ran this business as a one-woman show. Creating, producing, selling, shipping, managing, troubleshooting. I was also running a second business and working part-time, stretched to the max with very little left in the tank. There were so many times I had to tell customers, “I just don’t have time to update the online store,” and deep down, I knew I needed support to grow the business I was most passionate about. Not just labour, but an aligned partnership.
A Chance Encounter
Then one day, in the spirit of generosity, Leanne Schmidt posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace offering free elderberries.
Even though elderberries grow wild in abundance, something nudged me to respond. That small moment turned into a beautiful connection rooted in shared values: health, gratitude, freedom, connection, and a deep belief in supporting wellness through nature.

Today, I’m beyond excited to officially welcome Leanne as my partner at Forage & Soothe Botanicals. Some of you may have met her or seen her on our Instagram posts - but let me formally introduce you to, and welcome Leanne to our little Forage & Soothe community.
Leanne is the kind of person who lives her values. Grounded, intentional, and unwavering in her commitment to wellness. She’s also a meta-web-seo-optimizing marketing ninja (yes, really) and a financial systems genius who brings structure, efficiency, and vision to everything she touches. She’s the reason our website will soon reflect the beauty and integrity of our products, and why we’re finally poised to scale without burning out.
