We love buttering ourselves up with our luscious body butters. These magnificent treats look and smell good enough to eat!

For ultra-rich, plant-based butters, look for our Whipped Body Butters. If you prefer something a little more hydrating than rich, check out our Bliss Butters. Bliss butters are an O/W emulsified butter, contain a water phase and a natural preservative.

Formulated with one or more of these luxurious butters/oils:

Coconut oil & MCT Oil (fractionated coconut oil)
Skin Type: Dry, Irritated, Inflamed
Comodogenic? Yes, may lead to clogged pores in some individuals

Coconut oil improves skin hydration by providing a protective barrier. The high content of lauric acid gives coconut oil its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties. Unlike pure coconut oil, our blend of coconut oil, fractionated coconut oil and softening natural esters makes our Whipped Coconut Cream Body Butter a dream for your skin, whether or not it's not irritated or inflamed.

MCT oil is high in caprylic acid which gives it anti-fungal properties.

Shea Butter
Skin Type: All Skin Types
Comodogenic? No, but may lead to breakouts in some individuals

Generally considered to be non-comedogenic, shea butter is suitable for all skin types and may help to relieve eczema. Known for its ability to relieve dry skin, shea butter is ultra-moisturizing and feels amazing on your skin. It's also an anti-oxidant and prevents cell damage. We use Certified Organic Shea Butter.

Mango Butter
Skin Type: All Skin Types
Comodogenic? No

Mango butter contains more fatty acids than coconut oil and shea butter, making it the most intense moisturizer in our body butter lineup. Like coconut oil and shea butter, it too has anti-inflammatory properties and slows skin cell degeneration.

Cacao Butter:
Skin Types: All Skin Types, especially dry skin
Comodogenic? Mild-Moderate

Cocoa butter may sound (and smell) like a scrumptious ingredient (it is!), but it's actually much, much more. It's an absolute moisturizing powerhouse for treating a myriad of beauty concerns from dry skin to stretch marks and scars.

Cocoa butter contains high amounts of polyphenols that can help diminish signs of aging, while soothing sensitive or inflamed skin that might be suffering from dermatitis. Numerous nutrients and vitamins can be found in pure cocoa butter: vitamin E and vitamin K, choline, magnesium, copper, and iron. Copper is a popular skin care ingredient for supporting healthy collagen and elastin levels for supple, bouncy skin. Pure cocoa butter is high in fatty acids and deeply hydrates the skin, as the fats in cocoa butter form a protective barrier to hold in moisture. It also contains oleic, palmitic, and stearic acids, all of which nourish the skin. This makes cocoa butter a wonderful addition to moisturizers, body lotions, and lip balms. Many people believe that cocoa butter can visibly reduce stretch marks and aid in scar healing by boosting elasticity and replenishing essential hydration.
