Phở Kit – Traditional Vietnamese Soup Spice Blend

Bring the comfort of a slow-simmered bowl of phở to your own kitchen.

Our Phở Kit includes a perfectly balanced blend of whole spices and aromatics — plus a reusable muslin spice bag — to help you craft authentic Vietnamese broth from scratch. Simply fill the bag with the included spices, add it to your pot with beef bones and water, and let time do the rest.

As it simmers, the air fills with the deep warmth of cassia cinnamon and star anise, lifted by coriander seed, fennel, and black cardamom. Rock sugar rounds the edges while onion, garlic, ginger, and cloves infuse the broth with gentle sweetness and depth.

Ingredients: Rock sugar, cassia cinnamon, star anise, fennel seed, dehydrated onion, black pepper, coriander seed, dehydrated garlic, black cardamom pods, dehydrated ginger, cloves. Note: rock sugar is packaged separately inside the muslin bag for easy removal should you choose to omit the sugar.

How to use:
Add contents to muslin bag, tie closed, and place in pot or Instant Pot with beef bones and water. Simmer gently for several hours, then strain, season with salt or fish sauce, and serve with rice noodles, fresh herbs, and lime. Makes: One generous batch of traditional phở broth — enough to share or freeze for later.
